Tensegridad como crítica al abuso de las formas estables

ARQ 87

This paper displays a triptych between politics, philosophy, and technique: The nomotopo of Peter Sloterdijk, the concpet of metastability of Gilbert Simondon, and the tensile structures. The idea will finally be applied to Listening Tree a tensile structure design by Z4A and Built by Z4Z4 that confronting atmospheric conditions vanishs at the ultimate point of equilibrium. The final question remains open for interpretation about the abuse of stable forms in architecture design.  Listening Tree is left at its own and in its potential formal evolution. Its structural members merged into weather are deformed by the interchanges between the material qualities and the bodies of air.
